Economic Collapse Best Thing for Planet?

)))))///
{ô¿ô}_,,,,_ fraser

oh what a year it's turning out to be so far! the collapse of the whole dinosaur infrastructure accelerates on more and more fronts, and a Great Cloud of Gloom lifts as the final bush year runs into the iraqi sand as prophesied.

* total economic meltdown continues in plunges and landslides as we've been predicting for months, years, decades really! for, you see, those previous crashes which the 'experts' always point to in comparison were NOT, actually, earlier EXAMPLES, they were earlier STAGES of a whole Mega Confidence Trick which continued to grow and deepen till today, as we revealed in UP! 269A, the total bad credit is $45 TRILLION! look at UP! 262// The "Crash of 2007" - better believe it." nearly everyone was saying it was almost over at that time, that it was just too many bad debts. it wasn't and it isn't, and this one really could go all the way.

what "all the way" means is open to complex debate, of course, but basically what the planet needs is a total collapse of the present System. and i am genuinely surprised and delighted, after so many years sounding like a loony for saying it, to hear more and more of my friends and others on the web finally grokking that this might be the planet's best & possibly ONLY hope. for it is becoming clearer by the hour that the powers-that-be will NEVER, can never, make the required changes in time. they CAUSED it and they're continuing to cause it, and nothing in their Dino-reality-model allows any significant change. THEY, indeed, ARE the Problem! and, of course, all the poor consumer sheep they have brainwashed into their current fatal lifestyles.

it's important to see that a mere recession, which is already a fairly unanimously agreed forecast for the years ahead, is NOT enough and could, in fact, only make things WORSE. [An article called Profits of Doom in last week's Independent on Sunday described corporations thus: ** Big Busines shuns green policies, new global survey reveals. ** 9 in 10 firms fail to make fight on global warming priority. ** Revenue comes first and recession will harden their resistance.] so pray it goes all the way and doesn't recover :)

* the Great US Public, that great ...draa.a..ag... on human evolution which has been holding everything back, when given their once-every-4 years choice between the left and right wings of the ruling elite, turn out to be SCREAMING FOR CHANGE - the fact that they have little idea of what that might be is waaaay less relevant than the fact that THEY NOW UNDERSTAND ONE THING VERY CLEARLY WHICH THEY DIDN'T BEFORE, namely that the dinosaurs ALWAYS cause death & destruction. and people now don't want it ever again! this fact is NEVER going to return to the Bad Old Days.

* the Iraq Attack is now the most hated & derided phenomenon on planet Earth; Bush, as i predicted when almost everyone else was scared stiff to even raise their voices, has become the Greatest Schmuck in Human History [Sept 2005 - "obviously none of this can begin to happen till the dinosaurs have finally been shrugged onto the Fossil Record, with the name George Bush consigned to History as the planet’s Greatest Bogyman & Schmuck. sounds about right to me :)"]; and the idea that its instigators will one day face the firing squad is looking a lot LESS unlikely with every week.

[In The Philadelphia Inquirer this week, Elizabeth Holtzman writes: "Since mid-December, members of the House Judiciary Committee Robert Wexler (D-Florida), Luis Gutierrez (D-Illinois) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) have called for hearings on the impeachment of Vice President Cheney:

* food costs are rising as water levels, droughts and other eco disasters hit home. how many official commentators have you heard making this absolutely undeniable and inevitable connection?!

* oil prices are hitting record levels, denied as being possible just a year ago.

* world poverty deepens and the recent Davros summit actually agreed this was true.

* diseases are spreading across the globe - deng fever shows up in new york. mosquitoes all over the uk etc etc.

* on the science front a new paradigm has appeared which overthrows most of what we thought Science had established. it looks likely to re-throne spirit, consciousness and Objective reality (instead of the relativity that has ruled since the 1950s and has certainly caused a large part of humanity's current low morality.

* ecuador's president morales is sending coca leaves to chavez (see story below)

[i put those last 2 in to cheer you up after a baaaad list. karma from the future will be battling daily with karma from the Past for quite a while now :)]
UP!

SAGMAN BAR
- and now i've heard everything :)
US teenagers are facing a legal ban on sporting saggy trousers - a style originally kicked off in london by young blacks (as is often the case!).

The fashion fad has been banned or is being considered for banning in at least 8 different states. The moves are fueled by fears that sloppy dress is related to delinquency.
~ to be delinquent in a sick suicidal society is... wot?.. a sign of sanity?

"Kids going around wearing pants bellow their butts is not decent. It frightens pensioners." Councilor Tim Holmes of Opalocka, Florida.
~ today's version of "frightening the horses".
